Lead Interface Designer

Job Summary
Networking is the future of gaming, and we need you to put a face on it. We are looking for an enthusiastic and strategically minded user experience designer to lead our efforts and help define the aesthetics of our vision for server based gaming. You are passionate about consumer focused innovation and interaction design as applied to the flow of user experience between both hardware and software. You are comfortable managing projects that break new ground, you thrive in collaborative team environments and you are a versatile individual contributor. Your skills include idea & scenario generation, concept development, visualization, and a solid working understanding of how to translate user needs, technical realities, brand attributes and business needs compelling products that create a positive user experience. As part of the core team you will play a key role in ideating, defining, sketching, wire framing, and prototyping opportunities for cross-platform, experience-led innovation in our server based games business. You will facilitate and lead multidisciplinary teams from across the organization, working with the existing product development and systems teams to bring a focus on end-user experience to a wide range of new-term and next generation projects. We will look to you to expand and develop our set of strategic tools, methods, and processes for human focused innovation. Your output will range from defining consumer value propositions and use-scenarios to hardware interaction and user interface design across our product lines. You will facilitate early ideation sessions with brainstorming, storyboarding, rapid prototyping. You will help define, tailor and own the UX design processes and project schedules. You will be expected to engage heavily with the existing Product Management, Engineering, Games, Strategy, and R&D teams and have a strong hands-on involvement in the creation of project proposals and early concept development. Qualifications Required

A bachelors degree in Interaction design, Industrial design, Art, Graphic Design or related discipline and proficiency in standard design tools required.
Minimum of 5 years work experience designing in a collaborative environment.
Expert knowledge of major multimedia and design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash or Director, After Affects, 3-D modeling, etc) is required.
Experience:

Proven experience and ability in strategic design and/or interaction design
Proven experience in collaborative user-centered design.
Skills and Abilities:

Must possess excellent communication skills
Must demonstrate strong visualization and prototyping skills
Must have ability to work in multidisciplinary teams across a wide range of projects
Must be highly organized, flexible, and bring a positive energy to the team
Additional, hands-on experience in a secondary field such as mechanical engineering, software engineering, etc. is highly desired as is experience in the field of human computer interaction
