Senior Applications Developer

Responsibilities:
Successfully create, maintain and improve applications that serve our client’s marketing solutions.
Work with teams to concept and strategize innovative, interactive solutions.
Develop Web 2.0 and social media applications and leverage existing Web 2.0 APIs.
Create functionality in Web and Windows-based applications.
Participate in the technical end of project planning – estimates, specification development, and advise on application functionality.
Requirements:
Ability to work in a team-based development environment using various source control systems.
Communicates with technical and non-technical team members.
Understands diverse client business problems.
Familiarity with browser & platform independent development challenges and solutions.
Database experience.
Excellent time-management skills; self-motivated; self-directed and enthusiastic.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicates and documents technical designs and functionality to clients, peers, support staff and management.
Ability to accurately estimate effort and timelines for deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science or related field.
Tech Skills:
Very Strong .Net skills (ASP.Net, C#, etc); 2.0 required, 3.5 desired
SQL
Highly Developed abilies with DHTML/XHTML/HTML, CSS and design reproduction
JavaScript; any of the JavaScript foundation libraries are a bonus
Familiar with n-tier development
Visual Studio
XML/XSL/XSLT
One or more of the following is a huge plus: Silverlight, Web 2.0/social media, game development, ActionScript, AJAX, Adobe Flex, 3rd party CMS/eCommerce implementation and integration
