Job Description
As a web developer at Box.net you’ll regularly make significant contributions to the site. You’ll architect and implement features using PHP and SQL on the backend, and Javascript, XHTML and CSS on the front end. You should know MVC and keep up with the latest technologies and techniques. You’ll work closely with other developers, product design and marketing to engineer the best product. Most importantly, you’ll have real responsibilities and real projects in a collaborative, energetic environment.
Minimum qualifications:
Extensive experience programming the LAMP stack.
Experience with large, highly object oriented codebases, and the ability to learn them quickly.
Interested in and excited to solve complex problems in a sophisticated web application.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Ajax in large scale PHP applications.
Experience using PHP4 and PHP5 OO implementations.
Experience with Java, C, C++ or C#.
Knowledge of MySQL optimization and good schema design.
