RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop and implement templates and Web pages for university events and marketing efforts. Ensure that website branding is consistent with university standards.
Support director of Web development in the maintenance of the George Fox public website. Maintain templates for the website. Assist with training and support of student workers and department Web editors. Attend meetings as appropriate. Perform necessary duties relating to the website in the director’s absence such as issuing and changing passwords, granting permissions and approving Web pages.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required preferably in graphic design or related field. Minimum one year of relevant experience in web design, including use of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Flash, XML, and XSLT experience are also desired, but not required. Knowledge of photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop. Strong initiative and ability to work without direct supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
