Senior Project Manager
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online – Advanced Projects
The Advanced Projects (AP) team of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online (WDPRO) is looking for a talented, detail-oriented senior project manager with a proven track record to join our small, dynamic, self-motivated team.
About Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online: WDPRO oversees all of the online web activities, e-commerce, online attractions and informational sites (disneyworld.com, disneyland.com, disneyparks.com, disneycruiseline.com,and many others) for Disney’s theme parks and resorts.
About Advanced Projects: The AP team’s job is to concept and build the next generation of connected Theme Park attractions, interactive entertainment, and cutting-edge marketing with our partners across the company. To do this, we use as diverse a set of approaches and technologies as necessary—you may be working on casual games or mobile applications one day and virtual worlds, alternate reality games, or physical Park installations the next.
About the job: As Senior Project Manager on the AP team, you’ll be expected to take responsibility for the team’s entire slate of projects, making sure they’re all executed on-time, on-budget, and to the highest possible quality. You’ll report to the Director and work with the team of project managers to manage the workload (variable, but ~10-15 projects at once). When/where necessary, you’ll jump in to drive projects to completion. You’ll be expected to be an equal partner in both the creative and production realms, pushing team members to find and execute great solutions.
