Admios is looking for a Visual Designer with Interaction Design experience for a part-time contractor potentially leading to full time position. This role would supplement our existing information architect and UI team that are having a hard time keeping pace with our application development work. Our clients are mainly in the financial markets, so we are continually faced with with presenting large complex data sets in a manner that allows for efficient decision making. The end result is almost always a flash/flex based rich interface with rich interactions so there is a lot of room for new creative ideas.
What do we need? In essence someone who can quickly understand the directions set by our project management staff in collaboration with our information architect and customer. Often this means exploring several UI screens with multiple directions and options. We use wireframes in tight development cycles with our customers, sometimes getting same day feedback to drive a new wireframe for the following day.
Ultimately, if the designer feels at home at Admios and our working style, and vice versa, we’ll explore a full-time work load….. preferably moving to employee versus full time contractor.
