Web 2.0 social vacation property site seeks stellar software engineer
Viscape.com, an innovative travel site for vacation properties and second homes, is looking for a software engineer for a three-month engagement to design, develop, test, repair and maintain site features and functionality as required by a Web 2.0 application based on Ruby on Rails.
Come and work in a fun, creative, start-up environment where your work will be noticed and new ideas are most appreciated! You’ll be working directly with the founders as the site enters public beta, and you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the technological foundations of Viscape.com. What we expect:
Thorough knowledge of Ruby on Rails, XML, HTML, and JAVA
Ability to work within the Viscape environment and our clients’ environments
Commitment to and belief in (evolving) company process
