The Opportunity
We’re looking for a super star UX Strategist who’s webified, wired, wireless and well-connected to work with internal teams and advise key clients on user experience strategies. Someone with a passion for designing user-centric, digital environments and an entrepreneurial spirit. The UX Strategist is responsible for:
Role:
• Working closely with team members, including designers, copywriters, producers and others (both digital and traditional) to concept and develop solutions that are effective, authentic and innovative
• Working with clients to research and understand their business goals, and creating design solutions which help them meet those goals
• Understanding how to identify and translate user needs into digital marketing programs
• Leading strategic projects with work streams that include Stakeholder Interviews, Competitive Audits and User Research
• Developing all UX related documentation, from Personas to mental models to wireframes
• Helping to evolve User Experience services for the Seattle office of Publicis through education and advocacy
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and new technologies
Desired Skills & Experience:
• A minimum of five years of experience as an information architect, interactive designer or in a similar role
• An understanding of how content, design and user interface work together to create an optimal user experience
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles
• A passion to push the boundaries of technology
• Knowledge of and interest in social media and Web 2.0 concepts
• An ability to be entrepreneurial and think strategically
• Comfort representing new disciplines in traditional media environments
• Client-facing experience
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Library Science, Human Factors or related subject; Master’s degree preferred
