Real Branding’s User experience group is looking for user experience and interaction design professionals who are passionate about using great user-centered design, information architecture, interactivity, and usability to craft solutions. We look for people who appreciate all aspects of the business, and who understand that “a pixel to the left” can be an important part of the experience, and that “submit” is often not the best way to end a task. The right people are confident, articulate, and capable of leading clients and internal teams through the user experience design for large-scale engagements.
Qualifications:
•Experience creating interfaces for large scale websites or appliances
•Understanding of user-centered design principles and methods
•Comprehensive understanding of how to apply the methodologies of interaction design and user research experience development
•Working knowledge of the implications of CSS, AJAX, Flash, and rich media technologies
•Familiarity with typography, layout, and graphic design requirements
•Excellent skills with Visio and MS Office suite
•Degree work in human factors, HCI, information design, industrial design, or related area strongly preferred
•Ability to cultivate working relationships with people in a wide variety of functional areas
Responsibilities
•Work with clients and interaction design team to determine feature set, and measures of success
•Contribute to the creation of mock ups, wireframes, and other artifacts
•Collaborate to develop user personas, user scenarios, task analyses, and interaction models.
•Present work to client team members, and assist internal teams with managing client expectations
•Strong written and visual communication skills
•Solid awareness of web 2.0 and social media
•Act as the user advocate through all stages of the process
