Active.com is looking for a User Interaction Designer for our User Experience Team in our Seattle area office. You will be responsible for the development and refinement of rich and scalable user interfaces, user workflow, screen mockups and style guide(s). Preference is for individuals able to build out prototypes and non functioning prototypes.

Responsibilities include:
Prototype, design, and build graphic user interfaces (GUIs) for software development, Web forms, and other applications.
Reviewing designs with team and updating in a fast paced iterative and agile development cycle
Application of usability research evaluation methods including: questionnaires, interviews, direct observation, and cognitive walkthroughs.

Requirements:
A minimum of two years of GUI design experience, including one year building usability prototypes.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer graphics, industrial design, computer science, human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, or a related field.
