(Anywhere) UpGuppy.com, a fun new social networking site, promising vehicle for communication, and useful tool for finding information, is looking to hire creative/skilled developers and/or development firms to build specific functionality for our December 2007 launch.
UpGuppy.com is built using PL/pgSQL, PHP, Python, and Javascript. Vendors will work remotely and can ultimately bid on any or all of the projects described below. Final design sketches will be provided for all projects. Projects include:
- System for flagging and managing inappropriate content.
- Alteration to existing drop drawer that prompts viral spread
- New ‘landing page’ that pulls content from other parts of the site
- Database-driven Facebook Application
- Database-driven widget
- More robust groups functionality including privacy controls
