Ultra16, a small award-winning interactive design studio located just off Astor Place, is looking for an experienced (and kick-ass) Senior Front-End Developer for a contract position. The project this position will be working on is scheduled to last about 3 months, though there is the possibility of it being extended.
Requirements: Experience with source version control; Strong knowledge of XHTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript; Strong Knowledge in Javascript for AJAX; Strong understanding of cross-browse compatibility issues, semantic HTML and W3C. Standards: Understanding of unobstructive JavaScript and experience with popular JavaScript. Frameworks: MooTools and Prototype JS. Knows what firebug is and its use.
