We are seeking an entrepreneurial, web 2.0 savvy, User Interface Designer to elevate our award-winning investment platform to new heights.
WHO WE ARE
Angelsoft.net is a well-funded web startup located off of Madison Park in NYC. We have just released Angelsoft 3.0, our web-based productivity tool for accredited investors that is revolutionizing the way early stage finance is done by creating a clear and consistent way for entrepreneurs to find financing. With a CEO who is the chairman of the New York Angels and an associated incubator below us, not only are we a startup, we are firmly rooted in the world of entrepreneurship.
We have almost all of the world’s most active angel investor groups using our software, and have recently expanded our platform to bring entrepreneurs and venture capitalists onboard. Along with helping us continue to improve our investor tools, you will work with some of the best technologists, experience designers, and product managers in the City to create our platform for entrepreneurs from scratch.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll lead the look and feel of our online presence, with your cutting sense of interaction design, style, and visual hierarchy. With each iteration, you’ll do a deep creative exploration to find the most dynamic method of expressing the business requirements (and help define new strategic objectives). You’ll work closely with the director of user experience, and be able to help drive primary research to fuel your process. From innovation to refinement, you’ll be in the center of creating a world-class experience at a company that is transforming the paradigm of early stage investing.
REQUIREMENTS
+ A stunning portfolio of past UI design work, with an emphasis in web applications
+ Crystal-clear communication skills
+ Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Flash), and the capabilities and constraints they imply on design — prototyping skills a plus
+ A strong grasp of visual hierarchy and a clean aesthetic
+ 3+ years experience working as a user interface designer; web application design experience required
+ A quick and agile mind, with the ability to adapt to new requirements
+ Expert-level proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
+ A passion for creating world-class experiences on the web, and a wellspring of ideas about how that can be accomplished

This is a full time, on site position.
