traineo is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our small, dynamic, and growing team.
The Web Developer will help build exciting new features using the latest web technologies. The ideal candidate combines strong PHP & Ruby (Rails/Merb) programming skills; experience building complex web applications using HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, and CSS.
In your role you will be responsible for multiple components of the software development lifecycle (testing, design, coding, implementation and maintenance). The ideal candidate will also play an active role in marketing and business initiatives outside their area of expertise.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in Ruby (Rails/Merb), PHP, Unix, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX.
- 3+ years experience developing complex web applications.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
- A passion for creating excellent user interfaces & web 2.0 applications.
- Portfolio of web-applications using latest web technologies.
- Expertise with Flash and PhotoShop.
- B.S. Computer Science or related field.
- Expertise with Flash and PhotoShop.
