TMX Communications, an award-winning agency in Conshohocken, is looking for a talented and driven SENIOR FRONT END DEVELOPER for a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Senior Front End Developers work with the Creative and Production teams to turn interactive and visual design into engaging websites and applications. Reports to the Creative Director.
Requirements
Coding Skills
- Thorough knowledge of (X)HTML/CSS and table-less, semantically meaningful, cross browser/platform compatible, and accessible website development
- Knowledge of best practices regarding W3C standards, SEO, and accessibility
- Must be able to hand code without WYSIWG tools
- Writes modular, reusable code with particular attention paid to rapid prototyping, workflow, and future-proofing
- Ability to lead a project from initial concept through sitemap and prototype phases to completion
- Familiar with Javascript (think open source implementation like Lightbox: http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox/)
Design Skills
- Basic understanding of fundamental design principles
- Solid general Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge
- Meticulous attention to detail (pixel-perfect translation of mockups to working sites)
- Initiative and ability to create new techniques to achieve innovative design
Prerequisites
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Provide URLs and description of development role for each
Pluses
- AJAX
- ASP.NET
- XML
- Familiar with Flash and Actionscript
- Familiar with basic concepts of content management and building websites within various CMS environments
- Experience seamlessly integrating Flash and HTML
- Strong PS3 Madden and FIFA, XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii Skills a plus
