ThisNext seeks a UX/UI and graphic designer to join our product team. We’re a venture funded start up pioneering the concept of Social Shopping. Combining two of the biggest ideas on the web today, Social Shopping is an exciting opportunity and ThisNext is on the front lines, defining the field and changing the way people shop. We’re looking for a very talented designer to help us get there.
You will play a major role in our product design process, helping to create the most useful, beautiful, and cool shopping experience on the web today.
Required:
• Very strong graphic design skills
• 3+ years in web UI design
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and high level of user empathy
• Be able to conceptualize and design creative and simple solutions to complex user problems
• Sense of humor
Desired:
• Experience designing Facebook UIs
• Experience designing consumer-oriented Web 2.0 UIs
• A background and active participation in the social web
