The Point is a venture-backed startup that helps people organize group action.
We are looking for an experienced designer with a thorough understanding of UX, IxD, and IA to help evolve our award-winning web platform.
You should be adept at translating raw ideas into clear, efficient, and beautiful designs. We work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, with design playing a role at all stages of the process – from concept brainstorming, to prototyping, wireframing, comping, user testing and development.
You should also be well-versed with modern, web-based technology and social media.
Essential Experience:
- Information architecture
- Information design
- Interaction design
- Visual design (page layout, typography, color theory)
- User testing
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- Comping
Although this is primarily a design position, it is expected that you have some familiarity with standards-based web design.
