Qualified candidates for the Web Developer position will have a bachelor’s degree in technology-related field or 4 years previous experience in web design and development with intermediate to advanced knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Ajax, D/X/HTML, CSS, and Web standards. Experience with object-oriented programming, the prototype inheritance pattern, and understanding of systems like DWR, RoR and jQuery. Technical and user experience contributions to site design, site architecture and site production. Ability to work in a collaborative environment. Strong verbal, written and communication skills. A comprehensive knowledge of practices and principles of web development/design and general direction of the digital solutions industry. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with persons of diverse backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills.
This position provides the opportunity to work on internally developed Web applications. We are very proactive in our development and technology offerings and have a vast portfolio of internet and client Web applications. You will work directly with our staff of developers on various tools and also coordinate within the Integer and Omnicom networks on development projects.
