The Online Site Developer works collaboratively with other developers and designers to develop, launch and maintain projects using open source environments such as Django and Drupal. Though not absolutely required, candidates with Python skills – in addition to their core LAMP skills – can also assist in providing tight integration of our web applications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated expertise with XHTML/CSS/XML/DOM scripting. Django or Python experience is preferred though having a solid record in using open-source programming languages and a template-based CMS is acceptable. Solid experience working working with databases (MySQL and/or Postgres) and the ability to integrate them with a variety of applications is required. Flash Actionscript and Flash Video integration is a plus.
