Software Test Engineer – Boston MA
As a Veson Nautical Test Engineer you will help ensure product quality and customer satisfaction for the world’s leading developer of commercial maritime shipping software. You will be responsible for the development and execution of automated test cases and QA processes that ensure quality throughout our rigorous release schedule. You will work with managers and developers to diagnose problems in new and existing code, and support global customers to ensure their success in our products. You will have an important role in making developers, managers, field personnel aware of existing quality issues, and will lead the effort to identify areas for improvement of overall system quality.

Requirements
• Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
• Familiarity with object oriented programming languages (C#, Java, or comparable)
• Experience in unit and automated testing applications a strong plus
• Ability to advocate for software changes as necessary
• Relational database knowledge (SQL Server)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Desire to work in fast‐paced, entrepreneurial setting
• Proactive, positive approach to work
• Reliability and diligence
• Legal right to work in U.S.
