Telltale Games, a pioneer in the field of episodic gaming, is looking for a graphic designer to act as a creative lead for our entire online presence – someone as passionate about design and usability as we are about making great games. The ideal candidate for this position should have:

  • Experience taking full web projects from conceptualization to completion, preferably in a team environment
  • A love for creating simple, approachable user experiences
  • A strong sense of good site flow, presentation, and information prioritization
  • Familiarity with the general workings of online communities, product information sites, and web storefronts, and a desire to make them all more awesome
  • Excellent fundamental graphic design skills such as layout, composition, color, and readability
  • Experience hand-coding HTML and CSS
  • Working knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of browsers, CSS, HTML, AJAX, and JavaScript
  • Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design software

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Craft and oversee a comprehensive user experience across our online store & purchase path
  • Oversee and create web advertising collateral for Telltale products, including creating on-site product pages and store artwork, and overseeing banner ads and advertising created for third party sites
  • Design and implement game-specific mini-sites and interactive content (such as user-generated comics and mini-games), based on marketing requirements and working together with the web development team
  • Maintain community forums, blogs, and contests as part of a cohesive and consistent web presence
  • Work with business development and marketing teams to create and shape consistent brand identity and presence for Telltale’s products across the website, merchandise, package design, and other media

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience in print design, from advertising, to typesetting and layout, to product packaging
  • Experience or interest in game user interface design
  • Experience in video editing and production
  • Familiarity with a 3D package such as Maya or 3D Studio Max
