The Travelocity New York Technology team has several openings, and we are looking for the *right* people to complete our teams. We have a great team working on agile projects doing cool stuff. Developers – If you like doing front-end work using technologies like Groovy, Grails, and Freemarker, we’ve got a place for you. If you like doing back end work and have experience with Java, SOA, TDD, we’ve got a place for you too. If you like it all, even better. Testers – We are looking for testers who are fanatical about automation. We interact with highly complex systems whose data is always changing. That gives us some tough challenges to solve with automated testing. We currently use SOAtest and QTP, but we are open to new ideas that will help us deliver better quality software.
Development Manager – We are seeking a development manager for our Flights Development Team. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate success with Agile development approaches and practices, managing teams that are spread across offices and cultures, and have strong convictions about developing high quality software and building great teams. Ambiguity and change are the only constants in our industry, so this person should be able to respond well and adapt quickly. We are looking for a strong leader with a lot of passion and excitement, and most importantly one that knows how to have fun while tackling all of the challenging problems we face every day.
