(Jersey City, NJ) Seeking smart/collaborative/highly creative problem-solver with passionate eye for aesthetics.
Design interfaces for transactional web pages/ data intensive applications/additional products and services offered. Use typography/ color/layout/shape to make complex information simple.
Responsibilities:
*Work with interaction designers and developers- define and design the UI, provide input to the ID’s wireframes.
*Deliver branded mockups
*Provide input to guidelines for UI design/visual design/branding.
*Analyze and translate usability research findings into design improvements.
*Create/evaluate/modify low-fidelity prototypes.
*Design/create/optimize graphical assets, typography, and layout.
Experience:
*MFA in Design or equivalent experience.
*6+ years as key interactive designer for e-commerce/web applications/desktop software.
*Strong rapid prototyping and iterative design *Expert knowledge of interface design standards and best practices
Pluses:
*Interactive agency experience.
*Experience illustrating/directing creation of iconography.
