Sugar seeks a talented software engineer who is fanatical about building engaging consumer applications. In no time you will be shipping your code to a 50-million-pages-per-month audience (and we’re just getting started).
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of major new areas of functionality across Sugar’s publishing and social networking platform.
- Engage passionately in the generation and advocacy of new ideas.
- Assist in the continued evolution and scalability of the Sugar platform.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5 years experience building and shipping high quality, scalable web applications.
- Experience on at least one high traffic consumer website.
- Extensive experience with programming in C, C++, Java, PHP, or equivalent language.
- Experience with client technologies such as HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, or Flash.
