We are currently looking for a highly competent lead PHP Developer/Senior Architect with the following experience: (Please note this is a full time, in-house staff position)
- 5 to 10 years of professional software development experience with large enterprise level applications.
- Advanced knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks: CakePHP, Zend, Drupal
- Advanced knowledge of relational database design and modeling. Proficiency with MySQL or other databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres)
- Knowledge of best practices in system architecture/design, engineering, security, and scalability
- Highly proficient in web standards and development best practices
- Knowledge of LAMP stack configuration and Linux system administration
- Front end development skills with Javascript, AJAX, Flash Actionscripting are helpful but not required
Required background and skills:
- Technical Lead/Senior Engineer experience
- Can demonstrate having successfully architected/built high scale applications
- Excellent interpersonal and writing skills that communicates designs and ideas to technical and non-technical people
- Ability to capture client needs and generate development specifications from this dialog
- Ability to manage multiple new and legacy projects
- Understanding of Subversion version control and issue tracking systems
