StumbleUpon is looking for a multi-talented designer to join our team. As a member of the design team, you will work on all aspects of our design projects for key areas of the site such as Registration and Community content. Your contribution to projects will range from initial brainstorming to conceptual mockups to xhtml/css implementations for integrating your designs with the work of developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop designs from conceptual mockups to XHTML/CSS.
•Analyze, design, and specify the architecture for successful user experiences.
•Work closely with Product Development to develop user research and usability tests.
REQUIREMENTS:
•3-5 years experience designing and implementing user interfaces.
•Expertise in XHTML, CSS and Photoshop; Javascript, PHP and Ajax a bonus.
•Demonstrable web UI design skills including information design and typography.
•Bachelor’s or higher degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Visual Communications or related field.
