We are looking for a full-time developer for our fast-growing email marketing application, StreamSend.
As a Web Application Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing, optimizing, and maintaining the application. You must function well as a member of the development team (requiring excellent teamwork and communication skills) but also as an independent developer (requiring superior problem solving and time management skills, not to mention strong creativity).
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or similar fields (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, etc.)
- Great knowledge and insight of Ruby, Rails, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience building and maintaining web applications.
- Passion for writing elegant, modular code.
- Excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and functionality quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
- Write automated tests to ensure proper and consistent application operation.
- Monitor application performance and optimize code and application architecture.
