Vault.com—the most trusted name in career information—is seeking a Web Product Manager with 4+ years of experience planning, defining, managing and optimizing best-of-breed websites and web features. The Sr. Web Product Manager will report to the Head of Product Management and will be responsible for driving critical aspects of Vault.com from idea to launch—collaborating with other product managers and stakeholders throughout the company, balancing business priorities, understanding the competition, authoring requirements and evangelizing for a user-centered approach.
Vault is a 10-year-old, profitable career website and publisher located in Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
• Drive the vision and scope for several web features and areas of Vault.com at once
• Manage the entire lifecycle of these features, from ideation to implementation, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, interaction designers and web developers
• Author user profile analyses, business analyses, usability test plans, business requirements documents, user interface specification documents, etc.
• Monitor and report on the performance and opportunities of these features
• Research and present competitive and best practice analyses
• Propose and drive enhancements to all of the above including process improvements
Qualifications:
• BA/BS or higher degree highly preferred
• 4+ years as a web product manager
• 6+ years professional experience in the internet space
• Some understanding of internet technologies and trends including CSS, video, social networking, content management, user tracking, RSS etc.
