Position Summary
A senior level software engineer to join the ARX VCIFS Software Team. This team develops CIFS/SMB and related Microsoft Communication Protocols used by ARX data virtualization applications to run on F5 high-performance hardware platforms running Linux.
Responsibilities
Work as a member of a team designing, developing, enhancing and supporting file virtualization capabilities for existing and future platforms.
Qualifications
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years industry experience delivering high quality product software on time
Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
Strong UNIX / Linux application and system development skills
Previous experience Microsoft Windows Platforms or Protocols highly desirable.
Strong multi-threaded programming skills.
Knowledge TCP/IP and applications that run on TCP/IP.
Excellent knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.
Excellent analytic / troubleshooting skills.
Excellent design skills.
Excellent communication skills.

Daily computer use in an office environment.
