Sr. Software Developer - (C++/C#/Delphi) at Goldleaf Financial Solutions (Norcross, GA)

The Senior Software Engineer is primarily responsible for identifying and correcting issues with existing code and the development of new features for Goldleaf software products using Delphi and C#.

Responsibilities:
• Works closely within a Customer Support team to design and code new features, enhancements, or defect corrections using Delphi and C#.
• Identify and develop tools needed to improve efficiency within the department using latest technologies.
• Creates/updates & executes unit tests for all code written, whether for new/enhanced functionality, or defect correction.
• Manages the working relationship between the Customer Support team and an offshore team
• Reviews the code changes of other developers to ensure software quality
• Troubleshoots and develops technical solutions related to software and setup errors for Customer Relationship Managers, and customers
• Creates workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensures issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
• Liaises with Customer Relationship Managers and other internal software development teams to provide software support for customers’ production or test environments.
• Works with QA and Training personnel to ensure quality delivery of our product.
• Works closely with other staff, such as development managers, project managers, and business analysts

Required Skills/Education:
• 5+ years of software development experience in Delphi or C++
• 3+ years SQL Server experience
• NET development experience is desirable.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent is required
• Expert knowledge of software development concepts within the Microsoft Windows environment, including: threading, use of the Windows API, memory allocation, and pointer management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex client problems and/or situations.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server stored procedure development
• Sound understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
