Small, privately-held Atlanta-based healthcare software firm is looking for one experienced .NET/Web developer savvy enough to read Joel On Software.
SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- .NET Framework using ASP.NET and WinForms/WPF (5+ years with experience in .NET 2.0 is required and .NET 3.0 is desirable)
- Programming Language - C# (strong experience at least 4 years)
- Working with SQL-Server 2000/2005 (5+ years)
- ADO.NET (5+ years)
- Web application development including HTML and JavaScript (4+ years)
- JS/AJAX frameworks (Dojo, ExtJS, jQuery, etc) (1+ years)
- Web Services (Service Oriented Architecture - 2+ years)
- XML (4+ years)
- VB6 (for support of legacy platform being phased out with web based application under development)
- Experience with VSTS is a bonus
- MCSD Certification is a bonus
PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Desired candidate has extensive experience working with small (<10 member) teams using Extreme Programming. Must be clear communicator with demonstrated ability to understand business needs, design to solve those needs, and work with business stakeholders to complete the design for production use.
Ideal candidate is looking for a small entrepreneurial environment in which good ideas win and process-based dogma is not tolerated.
Company allows for flexible work schedule and telecommuting upon successful trial period.
