Duties and Responsibilities: [ This is an individual contributor role, not a team manager. ]
• Serve as ScrumMaster for one or two Scrum Teams concurrently.
• Identify and remove roadblocks for Teams
• Work with the Product Owner to maximize ROI, and meet the Program’s objectives through Scrum.
• Ensure that the rules of Scrum are followed (collaboration, prioritization, accountability).
• Work with the Product Owner and development team to facilitate and ensure:
o A clear understanding of Sprint goals and Product backlog features.
o A clear definition of what “done” means.
o A clear understanding of Team members’ roles in the estimating process.

• Requirements:
• 2 to 4 years experience project managing commercial software development projects using agile (Scrum, XP, etc.) and traditional (iterative and/or waterfall) methodologies.
• Knowledge of agile development and process concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle, QA and test methodologies and processes, and experience with one (or more) products through all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Ability to accurately distinguish which issues, dependencies, and risks are critical, demonstrate flexibility when prioritizing those issues, and identify, develop, negotiate, and optimize solutions with the Team, internal and external “consultant” groups, and stakeholders.
• Understanding of web technologies, development languages and environments, with C#, ASP, .NET, Ruby, and XML preferred.
• Able to travel internationally and domestically on occasion.
