Senior Information Architect

Manpower’s corporate headquarters has a great opportunity for a permanent Senior level Information Architect. The qualifications are as follows:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 5+ years experience designing and documenting websites and web applications
- Graphic Design and/or Animation background a plus
- Familiarity with Rich Internet Applications utilizing Flash, Flex, AJAX and CSS
- Extensive knowledge of prototyping, designing and documenting with Visio and/or Illustrator
- Proven experience in development of user personas, interaction scenarios, behavior standards based on business requirements
- Passionate about ability to apply user-centric methodologies
- Managed usability studies and other user experience research
- Must show examples of work and be prepared to talk about specific experiences
- Must be a good troubleshooter and always willing to learn
- Understand business objectives and design applications that achieve them
- Solid writing and visual communication skills
- Strong attention to details and documentation
- Ability to work independently through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to meet compressed deadlines
- Work with a team makeup of designers, programmers and business unit

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with project managers/designers and cross-functional teams to deliver rich Internet experiences on our websites and web applications.
- Developing action / response documentation, wireframes and testing plans.
- Overseeing the review of progress throughout project lifecycles.
- Designing innovative and effective interfaces as well as detailed design specifications
- Aggressively responding to market and usability testing results, using mockups, prototypes, user flows, and detailed design specification documents to define and communicate interface concepts and requirements, ensuring consistency and ease of use for our customers
- Distilling and organizing large amounts of complex information into simple, useful, and usable application designs
- Ability to inspire a team with a user centric vision
