The Southern Poverty Law Center, a non-profit civil rights organization located in Montgomery, Alabama, seeks a talented, font-savvy designer with a positive attitude for our award-winning in-house design department.
You will:
- Design fundraising materials. (direct mail, booklets, collateral, etc.)
- Assemble mock-ups for presentation.
- Commission photography and illustration.
- Work with in-house clients of all personality types.
- Specify paper and inks.
- Design publications, brochures, packaging, invitations, posters, newsletters, presentations, and more.
- Edit various video projects.
- Meet deadlines, occasionally on short notice.
- Have a passion for the work we do.
- Take initiative, share ideas, and collaborate with clients and fellow designers.
