Full-time Rails Developer needed at Soomo, a publisher of content for college courses. We are seeking a developer with a passion for using modern web standards to create highly usable and accessible web applications. We need someone with working experience in Ruby, Rails, and Javascript. Experience with Prototype, script.aculo.us, CSS and MySQL would be a plus.
Soomo currently has 6 employees and a half-dozen trusted contractors. Excellent benefits include health, dental, vision. This is an on-site position at our office in Cambridge, MA, located at the Cambridge Innovation Center, Kendall Square.
About Soomo Publishing—Soomo is an independent publisher of web-based ancillaries for college students. We work with professors to create web collections of thought-provoking content drawing from documentaries, essays, primary documents, interviews, magazines, blogs, journals, campaign commercials and other interactions that leave students wanting to know more.
