We are looking for an experienced Ruby developer1. Rethinking, refactoring and redoing existing code, optimizing for efficiency and helping us think of brilliant new ways of creating value for our users.
This off-whack job would see you helping Soocial optimize our code base. Scoping and spiking out alternatives to ActiveRecord and generally mixing a bit of sys-admin stuff with getting out on the backs of our hosters or third parties to solve performance and scalability issues.
We are a startup based in the Netherlands that is building the de-facto contact platform (see our site for more details). This is an opportunity to join Soocial’s core development team and have a major impact on product design/direction, software architecture, and implementation.
