The Need: Arxan is looking for qualified Software Systems Engineers to facilitate the development and implementation of next generation software protections that protect against these threats.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Evaluate & assess software security mechanisms
• Infuse new protection ideas (guards, obfuscations, etc) into the engineering roadmap
• Conduct security reviews, consulting (strategic) & custom developments
• Create and conduct training seminars for current and prospective customers
• Make the technical sale to prospective customers
• Prototype security tools and mechanisms
QUALIFICATIONS: (must have)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or other related field.
• Familiar with Windows, Linux systems.
• Experience developing / studying various components of compilers
• Able to produce and edit code in Intel x86 assembly, C/C++, Win32 programming, .Net languages.
• Experience with Visual Studio and MS Office Suite software
QUALIFICATIONS: (desirable)
• U.S. Citizenship. Applicant may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information and special project clearances.
• Experience using threat models to understand the security threats and vulnerabilities to software systems
• Experience with Reverse Engineering/”Cracking” in a lab environment
• Familiar with Software Protection /Anti-Tamper techniques, Debuggers (SoftICE, OllyDbg, etc), Disassemblers (IDA Pro, W32Dasm, ILDasm), Decompilers, Hardware/Software Emulator, Hex Editors, Memory Dump Tools (LordPE, ProcDump, etc)
• Advanced degree
• 2+ yrs experience in Software Industry
