Responsibilities:
This position will involve a combination of hands-on development work and system architecture with oversight over a team of 2-4 back-end web developers. In doing so, they will also work closely with Project/Product Managers to meet timelines and feature requirements.
This team will be building many new products, providing many opportunities for this position to greatly influence the technology directions taken and system architecture used.
Due to the variety of products and projects involved, engineers will work with numerous technologies and development languages as needed.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
- Architect great back-end web technologies that enable great website
- Split time between hands-on development work and oversight over a team of approximately 2-4 back-end developers
- Work closely with Project/Product Managers to meet timelines and features/requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience creating great highly scalable websites
