Webmetrics is expanding its engineering department to grow the product line into new markets, and is currently looking to quickly hire 1-2 full time software engineers to join our team. At Webmetrics, everything you work on directly impacts the business and our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow with the company, and become a big part of some very exciting upcoming development projects.

We’re looking for a top-notch developer with 2-5 years experience. Developers with a knack for web design, graphic design or UI skills are preferred – but not required. We hire any superstar we come across, even if they don’t meet our immediate needs.

Job Requirements:
• Computer science/engineering BS
• Strong programming skills, experience with OOP (1-2 years)
• Good Unix/Linux skills (2-3 years of experience)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of common web technologies (i.e. HTML, XML, Ajax, etc.)
• Interest in software development, and Internet technologies
• Interest in developing your skills as a software developer

Preferred:
• Design, user experience, and usability experience (1-2 years)
• Web application programming experience
• Experience with Perl (1-2 years)

The company offers a standard benefit package as well as an employee ownership/stock program. You must be local to the San Diego area, or be willing to commute.
