Wanted: Intelligent, educated, experienced, motivated, creative, and productive programmers to join a small software development and support team in Lorton, Virginia. We work primarily with physical security systems for government and military customers, using a variety of languages and platforms (whatever is needed for the task at hand), so we’re looking for people with a broad range of skills and interests in the field. Our team is young, so we’re still developing the resources and procedures that will make up our infrastructure. Obviously the most important part of that is picking the members of the team.
As a software engineer at DRS, you will work with everything from implementing interfaces and writing applications to designing databases and writing specifications. We are looking for smart people with an eagerness to learn new technologies and solve complex problems, regardless of the particular software platforms and languages they have used in the past. If you are looking for a position where you can take on new projects, contribute more than just code, and want to be a part of a team, DRS may be the place for you.
