Software Engineer for Authoria.
(Position located Waltham, MA)
Synopsis: Contribute to the design and development of Authoria’s Talent Management products.
As a Software Engineer you will perform product design and development, bug verification, release testing and beta support projects. This position is based in the Waltham, MA office.
The ideal candidate should have 2 + years of experience in software product design and development and/or product support. Demonstrated object-oriented design and development experience. Solid knowledge of software development methodologies, design and implementation. Thorough understanding of the entire development process including specification, documentation and quality assurance. Excellent communication, project planning and research skills are a must. In addition, candidate should posses the ability to learn very quickly with very little direction or mentoring.
A Bachelors’ Degree in business, software engineering or computer science is required.
Experience working with CASE tools, and other development related products such as Rational Rose, Clearcase and Eclipse, is a plus. Experience with Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Velocity and Spring. Object oriented design and a working knowledge of UML are a plus.
