For this senior role, we’re seeking an individual contributor with deep expertise in SOA
As a member of the CIDC development team you will be a major contributor to the CIDC gaming platform, products and services. In the position you would utilize your extensive experience in migrating a legacy system and services to an enterprise level, as well as scalable set of new games, features and services. On a day-to-day basis you would be involved with development activities of CIDC’s next generation software platform. Using the existing architecture as baseline, the Architect will work with the CIDC software directors and senior engineers in developing the next generation architecture, analyzing business use cases and system requirements. In addition, contributing to re-use/ make/buy decisions, building prototypes, models, developing components, leading integration and system test activities.

Requirements

• Experience with SOA technologies, standards, and components. Understanding of software vendor offerings in the SOA domain space and 3rd party integration. (e.g. BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss; Business Rules Engines, BPEL)
• Expert in 1 or more technology platforms; exposure to 1 or more middleware platforms; knowledge of frame-works and design patterns; knowledge of system performance models.
• Experience with development of e-commerce applications involving Perl, Mason, Catalyst, Template Toolkit, Apache web servers, DBI, CGI, SQL, HTML, and relational databases (Informix, Oracle, SQL).
• Experience with financial applications, payment systems, Internationalization and Localization a plus.
• Must be comfortable working on a mid size team in a consensus
• Strong mentoring skills and experience
• BS in Computer Science degree and 10 years, or MS in Computer Science and 8 years, or equivalent experience.
