Smartleaf is a startup with a new approach to asset management. Three of the top 50 banks have recently adopted our approach and we intend to capture the rest of the market by building great software with best practices and the latest tools and technologies. To be as nimble as possible we’re rewriting our web app with ruby on rails and are pushing the framework forward as we go — we’ve already written arguably the best access control plugin to date (which we’re opensourcing), and our rails application will be a first in the very conservative and demanding financial sector.
Job requirements:
- Be excited about web technologies
- Have a deep understanding of ruby on rails and at least one rails application deployment
- Be capable of reading/writing complex SQL statements
- Have some experience with CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
- Love writing tests for your code (TDD anyone?)
- Enjoy working in a startup culture with relatively little structure and lots of opportunity/responsibility
