Key Responsibilities
• Produce rapid web prototypes that demonstrate key design features using HTML and DHTML
• Take static prototypes from interaction design sessions and create screens for validation and iteration by the client
• Set technical direction for standards-based, XHTML-compliant web sites and applications by defining and advocating best practices for new and existing technologies
• Decompose and implement web-based components using HTML, CSS Layout, and Javascript in collaboration with enterprise software development teams
Our Requirements
• A background in web site development including Web 2.0 patterns and practices
• Expert knowledge in HTML/CSS/Javascript/XML/XSLT
• Familiarity with cross browser compatibility issues
• Familiarity with ADA compliant web site development patterns and requirements
• Familiarity with AJAX and client side development tools and techniques
• Ability to work with other disciplines (e.g. software developers, project managers) to implement the information architecture from the interaction design stage
• A minimum of 2 years experience with commercial-grade site development on multidisciplinary teams
• A track record of delivery in a software product or consulting firm
• Experience doing design with development teams that utilize Agile methodologies is a plus
• Experience with, and interest, in Globally Distributed Delivery is a plus
• Experience with FLASH and Content Management Systems is a plus
