Serenaandlily.com seeks a web designer to join our young, fast growing company to manage and redesign our retail site. You will architect information design (IA) and user experience (UX) philosophy and strategy for redesign and manage this redesign with web firm• execute daily website maintenance via current CRM• WE’LL NEED: 2+ years experience of front end website development and design• proficiency in front-end technologies: XHTML, CSS and JS (including Ajax) • Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and Flash skills• proficiency in email design and familiarity coding for multiple email clients• enthusiasm for semantic markup, cross platform/browser compatibility and accessibility• proper knowledge of site optimization for search engine bot crawling• a strong design aesthetic-an eye for color and layout• WE’D LOVE: proper knowledge of site efficiency and client-side user testing • knowledge of ecommerce platforms and CMS
