Summary
This role is for a seasoned analytics analyst, with a passion for informing the qualitative with the quantitative. This person should have experience in supporting the analytic needs of a user experience team as well as creating holistic dashboards for senior management.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with consumer experience team to establish and drive the data collection strategy across (click stream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, multivariate testing analysis) multiple sources (website, surveys, usability testing, and market research).
• Establish agreed-upon metrics for the site based on business goals and analysis of the site value proposition.
• Establish and define practical reporting schedule and process
• Deploy tools to collect performance data metrics
• Publish reports detailing issues and recommendations for changes.
• Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources for presentations to senior management team.
• Identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements.
• Partner with external business units and vendors to ensure that best practices in metrics and decision making are being exposed to core website decision makers.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least three to four years of working with standard click stream analysis tools: Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
• Experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
• Experience and high level of expertise with Business Intelligence tools, such as Brio, Business Objects, Cognos etc with experience writing and tuning sql queries in a online or offline environment.
• Three to five years of experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
