Everyscape.com is an exciting new company and we are growing! We are looking for an experienced software engineer with recent Web 2.0 experience, who thrives in a challenging, cutting-edge environment, to help this team reach the next level.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Web 2.0 application development and have integrated user generated content (community) applications into a web site recently.
We’re looking for someone who excels in fast-paced start-up environments.
A 4-year degree in a related technical discipline, with at least 7 years experience software engineering is required.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate third party community applications for integration with everyscape.com
* Provide effort/time estimates for integration and support
* Hands-on integration of the chosen solution into an ASP.NET web application
* ASP.NET development on everyscape.com
Skills:
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Track record of initiative and responsiveness
* Ability to operate, communicate and solve problems given time constraints
* Strategic thinking
Technical Knowledge Requirements or Familiarity:
* Microsoft platforms: IIS, ASP.NET, .NET, MS SQL
* Web technologies: Flash, Javascript, Ajax, CSS
* Javascript framework libraries (like jQuery, Prototype, Dojo, YUI)
* Development processes: source control, defect tracking, collaborative tools, agile methodologies
* Development Tools: MS Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET
