Job Summary
Are you a Software Engineer who is dedicated to the user experience and builds software that once it ships “It just works”? We are in search of a talented and energetic software engineer to work on The MathWorks products for Mac OS X. A qualified candidate must have real-world experience designing, developing and shipping complex desktop software applications developed for the Mac OS X Platform.
Responsibilities
Design and implement new features and user interfaces that enable our products to work more effectively on Mac OS X.
Ensure that integration of new technologies on Mac OS X is seamless and does not introduce regressions in functionality or performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years industry experience with C++
M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Excellent C++ and object-oriented design skills
Intimate, hands-on familiarity with Xcode, GCC, GDB, and Shark
Excellent project management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Mac OS X based development background required, Unix familiarity preferred
Strong debugging skills.
Pluses
Hands on experience with MATLAB on Mac OS is a Plus
Working knowledge of Java is a strong plus
Familiarity with AppleScript, Perl, and/or Unix shell scripting is a strong plus
GNU development experience a plus.
