Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Qualifications:
* BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
* Several years of software development experience.
* Demonstrated expertise in Java
* Extensive relational database experience, MySQL preferred
* Enthusiasm for writing solid code
* Experience developing user interfaces in Swing
* Experience developing with Java web technologies
* Experience developing webservices
* Strong object oriented design skills
* Knowledge of common software design patterns and best practices
* Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Proven track record of delivery
Position:
* Hands-on involvement in every phase of development: design, code, test and document software
* Technical design and contributions to system architectures
* Organize requirements into development tasks
* Refine existing designs and implementations
* Work on meaningful and challenging projects projects with real world impact
* Utilize the following technologies, (although we continue to evolve our tool chest):
- Java (Swing, JUnit, JBoss, Tomcat, Axis2, JSP, Ant, Nima), MySQL, Derby, XML, AJAX, JavaScript
