The Debt Exchange (DebtX) is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their top-notch Boston-based Engineering team in building their next-generation web-based exchange and auction platform. The position will be a senior contributor in a small team of engineers, focused on delivering quality software in short time-cycles.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop web and Windows-based applications using ASP.NET and .NET.
* Work with Product Management and other developers on product requirements and design.
* Document and test application features and enhancements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience.
* BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* Extensive experience developing in C# (or similar .NET language) using Object-Oriented Design.
* Expertise in HTML, CSS, Web scripting technologies (JavaScript, VBScript, etc), XML, ASP.NET
* MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with XSLT, Java, C++, VB-derived languages.
* Hands-on experience developing AJAX-based Web applications.
* Experience with relational database design.
* Experience administering Windows 2000/2003 Server, MS SQL Server 2000/2005 and IIS.
* Experience working on a team utilizing Agile development processes.
